Payment Policy

Our providers participate in most of the major health insurance plans in the region as do our medical ancillary services - Cardiac Testing, Imaging/X-Rays, Lab Tests. The list below contains the names of the health plans that our ancillary services currently accept. (Your doctor's office may have contacts with the same or different insurance companies. For more information, please contact your physician's office.)

You may still use our ancillary services even if your plan isn't listed below, although you could have a higher copay or coinsurance amount. However, the charges  for our ancillary services tend to be lower, so you might find us the better value regardless of whether or not your insurance company considers our services "out-of-network."

Please be aware that with any health plan, there also may be deductibles for which you could be responsible. We accept cash, check or credit cards (Mastercard, VISA, Discover). For questions about your bill from the ancillary services, please call 216.382.7745.

Questions About your Bill

I have questions regarding my doctor's bill. Whom should I contact?

Please look at the bill from your doctor carefully. You should see a telephone number for billing questions or a website address where you can get more information.

I have questions regarding my bills for lab tests and imaging/x-ray. Whom should I contact?

For billing questions related to those specific services, you can call 216.382.7745 from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Bills for lab tests only pertain to the main, comprehensive lab in suite 011. For other lab bills, please contact your doctor.

I received a notice that my insurance company has paid on my bill -- but I can't understand how they calculated their payment amount. Do you know?

If we received any information from your insurance company, then we'll be glad to share it with you. However, for answers to any questions about insurance payments, deductibles, or co-payments, you generally need to check with your insurance company.

If my insurance company has paid for my care, why do I still owe a balance?

There could be three reasons for this.

  1. Your doctor or the facility may not be a participating provider with your insurance company, which obligates you to pay for your services in full, up to the charge amount listed.

  2. Your insurance policy may have a deductible and or co-payment provision which obligates you to pay up to the allowed amount of the claim. The allowed amount is negotiated between the health care provider and insurance company.

  3. The care you received may not be covered by your insurance company. You can keep your out-of-pocket expenses to a minimum by using an in-network provider and knowing what your insurance covers. When in doubt, always contact your insurance company for guidance.
